Ethereal Design of the Moment: Dandelions

We all love Orla Kiely. We love her for swinging dresses like the one above (P.S. - I need to have this dress!). And for delish pillows like the one to the bottom on the right (P.P.S - I really need to have this too!). And amazing weekender bags like the one on the left (P.P.P.S - guys, I REALLY need to have this!!). But did we realize the power of her persuasion?? I think not. The woman has signle-handedly helped to create a new trend: dandelions. She clearly knows no bounds. She just rocks. Anyway, the next thing I know dandelions are sprouting up everywhere! Don't get me wrong, I do love them. They are so springy, light, airy and all-around happy. I just am so surprised to see them everywhere. But I do enjoy. I hope you do too!So, as I mentioned, the clutch above is by Orla. Below we have a dandelion caftan by Canadian clothing/textile designer and illustrator Virginia Johnson.
