Summer Scents

Amazing scents, body glow and lip balm has arrived from Rituelle!

My personal favorite is the coconut ginger scent (I love EVERYTHING coconut). But they also come in frangipani (floral and sweet), pink jasmine (a toned down floral, and my second favorite), and ruby mango (fruity and sweet).

The body glow has a bit of shimmer, but not so much you feel like you are in middle school again. It is an extremely soft glow, and a yummy smell.

If you love sweets, the lip balms are made for you! The two flavors are cotton candy and chocolate mint, and both will surly satisfy any sweet tooth.

Now, with all these summer scents we just have to wait for the summer weather!
But as we all know it will come soon enough and I'm sure I'll be complaining about the heat, SO I plan to stay hydrated with our new Earthlust water bottles. The designs on the bottle make them much cooler than Nalgene bottles, and better for the environment than buying bottled water.

It is officially December, and the temperatures are dropping and the reality of winter is setting in. Along with winter comes my favorite holiday of the year- Christmas. I don't know if it's the tradition of the whole holiday season or the childhood memories of the family festivities that bring a smile to my face. Maybe it's both but regardless I am full of anticipation to get together with family and friends and celebrate in the only fashion I know how: tons of laughter and cheer, a grand spread of desserts and finger foods, and my favorite part is celebrating the arrival of Santa Claus with my young nieces.

With all that said, it's not all sugar plums and fairies in my head. I do have a least favorite aspect of the holiday season: fighting the crowds shopping for that perfect gift for crazy Aunt Sue. Toddler/ Kid Gifts for Girls!

Today we got in the coolest baby gear it almost makes me want to have a baby! But for now, I will vicariously live through my best girl friends and shop for their little ones. And if you are anything like me, I have been to several baby showers this year and a few more on the way. One of my favorite things about Jac. is all of the hidden treasures we have scattered throughout. Sometimes all of the beautiful clothing and accessories steal the spotlight away from our impressive reading material. As a book lover, I have spent a lot of time skimming the pages of some really interesting and unique books we have here. Here are just a few that I have found myself looking at more than once..



This book is meant for people that want to recycle but look stylish doing it.. great tips!

This one gives you a close-up look inside some of the world's most celebrated artists' hideaways. It's amazing to see how each place represents them.

Sometimes it can be hard to slow down and appreciate each season's beauty, but this book is a great reminder!

Who ISN'T a Beatles fan? This is a whole entire collection of unique, unpublished photos of the greatest band of all time!
