*exhale* FINALLY, after selling out faster than a L.A. newbie, Mini-Shatsu has resurfaced at Jac!
As a mom I try to keep my mini-chick, Chloe, as sensibly stylish as possible.
I'm not Katie Holmes, so I don't have the time or patience to Suri-fy with ruffles and silk.
Mini-Shatsu has incorporated trompe l'oeil to add a dash of attitude to each cotton onesie.

Toddler/ Kid Gifts for Girls!

Here at Jac. we have a plethora of baby gifts ranging from hanker chief bibs, rock'n roll onsies, swaddling blankets, burpies, sock monkeys, and animal backpacks. Jaci always picks out super cute, one of a kind baby items that are great gifts for any baby shower or even toddler. They are not your typical pink and blue boring baby gifts, that's for sure.

Today we got in the coolest baby gear it almost makes me want to have a baby! But for now, I will vicariously live through my best girl friends and shop for their little ones. And if you are anything like me, I have been to several baby showers this year and a few more on the way. I always show up with a Jac. baby gift in hand for the soon-to-be mom and it's always a show stopper. Jac. carries unique baby gifts that are sure to impress with cool baby style and functionality.

DJ BABY

Cuteness has rolled in to Jac. The above and below images are of our newest line, Mini Shatsu - meaning mini shirt, for little tots 0-18mos. We have drummers, singers, sailors (below) and more. So far no one who has seen them has been able to walk by without oohing and ahhing.....they are literally flying out the door...come see for yourself!

Who likes GOAT MILK?

We do! It's rich in vitamins, proteins and minerals --- and we just received a shipment from Jenness Farms which makes the most deliciously moisterizing goat milk products! Not to mention their ADORABLE packaging! Who wouldn't want to take home one of the little men above full of yummy soap???? We've got solid perfumes, hand lotions, baby powder and more....come check it all out!

We at Jac. definitely consider ourselves humorous.....Or at the very least, we have a good sense of humor!

And this was confirmed yesterday when Wry Baby landed in our shop. I mean, how adorable???

Babes In Babeland

As the resident gentleman, I'm not always the best person at Jac. to ask about the ins and outs of each piece. Case in point: today, a shopper asked me how a top was worn, and my immediate reaction (which I thankfully kept to myself) was "You wear it over the top of your body. Like a shirt." Rachel Zoe, I am not.

What I do know something about is Jac.'s cuter-than-cute baby section. It's so cute that it'll make the baby-less yearn for babies of their own (note to our parents: don't read too much into the comment, I'm just being playful). Baby Love

January is the month of babies. Everyone I know has just had a baby, about to have a baby, or having a baby this very second. I am not so familiar with baby gift buying. I had a couple of opportunities last year to get aquainted, and yet, I am still on a search for my favorite "go-to" site to send baby gifts. There are a few in the running however.
I recently discovered Modern Tots which has great - somewhat Scandinavian design products - clean lines and such. The magnetic bibs above are from there as well as these adorable blocks by DwellBaby. They really have everything from infant items to tweens...
I am also pretty keen on Baby Style which has some great all-around cute colorful baby items.....like this cute animal-faced ring toss set. Then I came upon this site called Wonder Threads, and I totally fell in love with this elephant onesie!
Don't forget about the department stores though, or you'll do yourself a disservice. I found this amazing blanket and jacket set at Neiman Marcus and have totally fallen in love.Never underestimate the gift of a book either...I've been told that soft pillow books are the way to go, or even wet-resistant books to take in the bath, but I have such a weak spot for this hard cover book, "This Little Piggy Went To Prada: Nursery Rhymes for the Blahnik Brigade," found on Amazon. Most likely for the Mommy, but doesn't she derserve a gift too??I'll be back later this week guys - probably back to grown-up stuff.....Stay tuned!
