Comfy on the Toesies...

I love my heels and boots, but whenever I see a new pair of Toms roll into the shop I feel a flutter in my stomach. Of course we love that with every pair purchased, TOMS gives a pair of new shoes to a child in need. But we super duper love the feel, look and touch of them. Especially this new pair: Poe. Soft yet sturdy flannel with a brown/white/orange color combo that make them just the perfect thing to get me around this Fall. My tootsies are already loving!

hello, Sunshine...

New to Jac is New York label, Sunshine and Shadow.
Designer Lilly Raskind developed a collection containing
a mix of light and dark,
contrast and coherence and understated with bold for Fall 09.
Our bits of sunshine are housed in the luxe silk scarves that have been
hand dyed in popping colors of fuchsia, cobalt and an earthy green (pictured above).
With weather that can't quite make up it's mind,
it works as a
perfect wrap for the late night football games or downtown strolls.

Lofty Aspirations

While many of you know me only as Atlanta's Next Top Torso Model, I'm really so much more than that. I've got my very own glamour shot- for starters- and as such, I peddle some pretty purdy real estate. Today, I've got the perfect loft for your Frye boots and James Jeans.
The beautiful, spacious, delightful loft that you always wanted, thisclose to everything.

Branched Out

The rainy week has gotten me in full on Autumn mode!!!
And coming into the store to find newbies has not deterred that in the least bit.
Twg is here!!
Yup Yup!! That means ample cashmere goodies to come and
cozy on up to (said with southern twang)

There's no getting out of this one!! I know I say it about everything, but
This is a closet necessity!!
Firstly, it is a wrap dress: great for instantly pull you and your look together.
(wrap-dresses drop those 5 pounds you gained from ordering dessert all last week)
With the added ruffles, this dress has just enough fem-n-flirt that your looking for and
all the comfort that will carry you through the work day!!

Looks like your basic black cardigan huh?
***Warning: Dissected Cardigan Ahead***
1) It's 100% Cashmere (and so are the buttons)
2) has exposed zipper sleeves that are flanked by tight ruffles
3) double breasted for extra snug!! Yum
4) asymmetrical lapel that flows down the bodice

You've probably seen this one thousand times over
in every magazine, but Eggplant, Violet, Plum (and all those other fancy names for purple)
are the token colors for the season.
So thank you Twg for keeping us trendy and warm with This
tres chic pullover sweater.
The layered rippling of cashmere going down one side of sweater
replaces the " Carrie" flower of last spring (and every spring since the show aired)

This is it! The one we've been waiting for...

Voila, and just like that... it is here! My thoughts (in this order) concluded of: FINALLY. It's been torture! Agony! Painfully piercing my ever so impatient heart... but... yes, it is here.

... and playing at the Tara in Atlanta!

Jac, as seen on the Real Housewives of Atlanta

Let's be honest, Bravo has gone a bit blue with its déclassé shows of NYC Prep and Miami Social. That being said, I usually find myself tuning in for one of their shows (Top Chef, Flipping Out) at least once a week. This also includes the Real Housewives of Atlanta. Though these ladies don't always give Atlanta the best representation, it's still one of those shows I always find myself watching. So just imagine my surprise when I tune into this week's episode and see Miss Kandi Burruss (one of our favorite customers), pose for her Alter Ego photo shoot wearing her awesome Sarah Luna dress from our lil' old boutique! Yes, I absolutely shot right up and screamed, "Oh my gosh! That's our dress" the minute I saw her rocking it. Very exciting for Jac. to (sort of) get three seconds of fame. Click here to run through the pictures and see Kandi wearing her pink and white check Sarah Luna dress (photos 5 thru 8). Just had to share!
