For all you PATTERN lovers..

So, I have a serious summer goal this year...

Introduce LOTS more color to my wardrobe!!! And being a part of the Jac. family definitely helps. While taking in all of the amazing, colorful spring clothing we have gotten in lately, I have discovered my new obsession with PLAID! Who knew?

And Steven Alan clearly gets it right with these adorable button ups! Comfortable, cute and fun..you cant go wrong!

and not to mention these Steven Alan shorts (which have been flying out the door)..perfect for a backyard BBQ or a casual stroll through the park!

Although the camera or hanger doesn't do this Corey Lynn Calter dress justice, its form-flattering fit looks amazing on!

I can't get enough, hope you guys love just as much! Stop by soon! XOXO, Shelly

Beer + Bacon + Bands + Comedy = Baconfest!

First off, this is Jac.’s resident male. Just in case you’re confused as to why today’s blog post is about beer and bacon.
Now on to an important service announcement:
Arrested Development isn’t coming back anytime soon.
No George Michael. No Tobias Funke. No Bluths are in our future. Outside of 30 Rock and The Office, TV is littered with a litany of tragicomedies. Two and A Half Men (Charlie Sheen’s ode to bachlerhood). Til’ Death (starring that ridiculously tall guy from Everybody Loves Raymond). You know what I’m talking about. It’s enough to make you want to Tivo the early morning episodes of Diff’rent Strokes.
That’s the bad news. The good news is Dad’s Garage.
Dad’s Garage is located right around the corner from Jac. It’s a fantastic improv theater that features both scripted comedies as well as good ‘ole improv. It’s a good time, every time, and in my opinion one of Atlanta’s hidden gems. And now, you’ve got an excuse to go. This weekend is their annual Baconfest (from 2-7 pm), an afternoon festival dedicated to eating bacon, drinking beer, raising money to support a most excellent non-profit theater company, and laughing. Oh, and they also have live music. Anyway, it’s definitely a must-attend for folks that either enjoy laughing or eating bacon. Or both. So get off your keester, turn off you Mr. Show dvd and head over to Dad’s Garage on Saturday (and stop by Jac. to say hi, of course!).

April Showers Bring May Flowers

Well, I agree with Katie, spring time is my FAVORITE season hands down! But before I grab my sunglasses and head for the park, I know I have to prepare for the months ahead of erratic temperatures. Being a native to the south, I am very familiar with the spring time weather here. At 2pm on any given southern day, its super sunny, 70 degrees and not a cloud in the sky. But a few hours later it drops to jacket weather. So, needless to say I'm a huge fan of layering and always having a jacket on hand at all times!

I have been scouting out a few jackets we have here at Jac to add to my wardrobe. Super cute and chic, light weight trench designed by marimekko is sure to turn heads as you walk by.

Here is my FAVORITE light weight, 3 quarter sleeve jacket by Trovata. Super cute and versatile!
In addition to warmth, if you haven't added a raincoat to your closet's spring choices, here is your chance to. Steven Alan designed this light weight raincoat/ wind breaker for the urban waredrobe and spring weather in mind!
To show off that new spring time pedicure, I recomend Frye's awesome sandals shown below. And we have more sandals here at Jac. So come check it out! :) Happy Piedmont Park and 'margaritas on the porch' weather ladies! Come see our Spring additions, hope to
see you soon. - Candice

DREAMING OF SHORTS

So, it's SPRINGTIME (finally)!! For me, this End of Winter/ Start of Summer time means constant daydreams about lying on the beach on some South American island, drinking delicious cocktails while being pampered by a hot local....
But, since I don't see that happening anytime soon, I am forced to be content with the other, more tangible joy of the season, and that is SHORTS!!
Here are just a few pairs that I am completely IN LOVE with at Jac:
From above to below, we have: AMAZING seersucker guys from Built By Wendy, SUPER Comfy lightweight ones from Corey Lynn Calter, and a perfect navy pair with the BEST belt by Trovata.

I may not be in the warmth of the Brazilian sun now, but when that dreamboat stranger invites me there for a little weekend romp, I'll be ready!!!
ENJOY!! xxxKatie

***Get excited! This post is the first of many from the entire Jac family! Stay tuned for more from Candice, Shelly, Jonathan and, of course, Jac!
