Ladies, ladies, ladies! We have several new pieces from Hayden-Harnett. I've selected two of my favorites. These are sick (great), I'm sure you'll agree.

The Audry wool overc
oat is trimmed with lamb leather and accented with gold dome military buttons. It's cinched at the waist with a swing hem. Absolutely Fab!

Jinhee slim tote in blueberry can be carried by the chain shoulder strap or handles. Plenty of room to carry all your goodies. It's a real head turner. Laters! Sia

My new favorite designer just arrived at Jac.!

Now that the BIG Sale has come and gone, we are getting all our super Fall lines in. Every day when we get a shipment in, it's like Christmas. From Cashmere, to long sleeve - light weight jackets, fall tops sporting fall colors of purple, oranges, browns, and we have a lot of new, fun dresses. It's all so yummy it's hard to narrow it down to blog about, but I do have a new favorite designer I want to tell you about. Michelle Williams, owner/designer of Quail has hit the independent fashion world running. Michelle is a native Californian, with her family roots in Vietnam. She brought her line to fruition after a few years of culitivating her vision, and now it's here at Jac.

Quail: was a term used in the 1960's by hipsters to describe a woman or girl. So, needless to say the line is inspired by hip fashion from yesteryears and todays fashion forward world. It's a cool juxtapoz of 1940's and 1950's pin-up girls, with a polished look. One of Quail's quintessential pieces is the high-waisted skirts.

Here are a few of her pieces we are carrying at Jac.

My favorite new dress we have here at Jac is this purple strapless. It's so stunning yet splendidly simple.

Every day we are getting in new collections for Fall for both men and women. Come see us soon and check out all the new Fall lines, and have a great and safe Labor Day Weekend! - Candice

I'm Hungry for Fall!!!

So I'm settled in the store!!! And our FABULOUS collection of fall goods have found their way into our nook. Including some new Marcellina G. jewelry featuring her signature look of luxe-flea market finds. In the store front you will find a necklace with an ostrich charm that also functions as a broach. WOW HUH?

My favorite season, Autumn, is right around the corner. And that means the time to revamp the wardrobe is here. Thanks to Hayden-Harnett, a line based out of Brooklyn, NY, the process will be ridiculously fun, fast and fierce.
We are carrying their "deco inspired sweater dress" that seems to be the perfect mate to a pair of colored opaque tights and/or knee high boots.

(Haydenharnett.com) dont you just love this

...and last but certainly not least, your shopping experience must be topped of with a DE-LICIOUS barbequed chicken sandwich and red velvet mini-cupcake from the Highland bakery right up the street. It is my new food obsession...seriously.

Hope to see you soon!! Ciao Bella

Hi!

Hello Everyone!! I'm Sia, the latest addition to Jac. I'm uber excited to be here and I'll tell you why. There's so much to love about the store. Let's start with the wonderful display fixtures and props. Can we say all the things you want in your home?! If you love trinkets and nic-nacs you have to come in. There is too much to name, just trust me. Then there's the clothing. Jac offers something for everyone, no matter your style, or gender. We just received the most delicious cashmere tops. My fav is this charming piece by Demylee. It's a delicate black sweater with the most wonderful gold ball buttons. The buttons descend from the neckline, which is set slightly to the right, down to the center of the garment. The sweater is even more delightful when tried on. Its a must have for the fall/winter season. Oh yeah, lets not forget about the babies. We have everything top to bottom for the little one's including: clothing, blankets, diaper bags, and snack sets. Lastly, if you're looking for new accessories that are exclusive you have to come in and check out the jewelry. It's a must! I'm just gonna tease you with this: cashmere & wool bangles by Yarborough. Who knew?! They come in an array of sizes and great colors. Now you know why I love Jac. Come and see for yourself.

This little shoppe is growing up!

I can remember a time, not long ago, when Jac. was little more than a pre-construction mess. There was no merchandise. The space itself still smelled of fried shrimp. The clothing racks and store furnishings began to take up more room in our house than our personal belongings.

Jac., in essence, existed only in the imagination of my incredible wife.

Here we are, one year later, and I'm blown away everyday by what Jaci's created. While I know that this blog is typically used to provide updates on new products and styles at Jac., I really couldn't help myself from kvelling over Jaci's creation. An absolutely fantastic store by an absolutely fantastic lady. And I love her!

Jaci's on Citysearch this week proclaiming her love for Krog Bar's lil' sammies... take a looksy (you'll need to scroll down to find her faves...): http://atlanta.citysearch.com/roundup/43276

Jac: It's a GUY thing

So, one of the new lines we are really excited about in our new men's department is Ritual. Yes, they have fabulously quirky packaging, but that's not all. This trifecta of shaving goodness smells great, works great and is great - as attested to by the resident male, and thousands of other Ritual dedicated users. Choose one, or buy all three (Razor Rinse, The Whip, The Balm). We are fully stocked so send your man in to see and we are happy to dole out free testers! xxxxjac

If it's good enough for Albie...

For those of you who've been to the store before, he needs no introduction. But for the unacquainted, let me introduce our puppy extraordinaire, Albie.

Pretty cute, eh?

So last night, we did some re-arranging here at Jac. As I'm re-arranging our antique French pie rack (which is another story in and of itself), I look over and see Albie resting comfortably on a freakishly adorable dog pillow by Poco Mutt.

It was really, really cute. Really. I mean, imagine that dog (scroll up so you can see his picture again - he's worth another look), on that pillow. I know, really cute.

So I say to Albie, "Hey buddy, would you mind if I told everyone that you love your Poco Mutt dog pillow and endorse it wholeheartedly?".

At first, silence.

"Hey Albie, just give me a sign."

Albie got off his pillow, walked towards me, and gave my hand a hearty lick.

We've only got three of these extra special, super cute dog pillows left. If it's good enough for Albie, it's good enough for me (and hopefully, your dog).

Tum, ta, tum, tum, TOMS!

YAY. The Toms shoes are in for both women AND men! Caramel and eggplant cordory for women and navy cordoroy for men. Um, did we mention they feel like walking on air?? And another bonus, besides being super cute and comfy, everytime you purchase a pair, Toms will give a pair to a child in need. In 2008 alone, Toms plans to give 200,000 pairs away. Wow. Shoes that not only feel great but do great things too. Oh yeah, they don't break the bank either. $48 a pair.
