It's too hot out

All this time in doors....makes me want to redecorate!

Cool blue tones seem like a good idea

Love the idea of a bright and cheery library instead of your typical dark and cozy

Nothing makes you exhale "ahhhh" like an all-white room

Hair-Raising Thoughts

It's one thing to love your duds, it's a whole other thing to love your look....and one of the most important things when putting yourself together for almost any woman is her hair. Summer in Atlanta is particularly hard with the intense humidity. I've been looking for other options than the easy-peasy pony-tail pull-back and here's a few I may tackle in the coming weeks:
Anna Paquin works a perfectly lovely messy side bun
Looks a bit fancy, but I think I can pull off a similar version with about 1 million bobby pins
I've been trying to master this cross-over braid for a few months now
Taylor Swift rocks the Bohemian look with a Bandeau. Not sure if this is for me so I have been sticking to our fabulous headbands by local Kelly Cadet and Pistachio

Tis' the season!

For weddings! Summer not only means beach and sun, but it is also that time of year mailboxes are full with wedding invitations. This year, I have a wedding to attend in July at the beach. I am horribly indecisive even when deciding what to eat for dinner, so picking a dress for the wedding is truly a challenge for me.

Here are some options I am thinking about:
Option 1:

Lauren Moffatt Long Sleeveless Dress

A maxi dress would be ideal, because I'll want simple shoes walking around in sand. the colors on this dress are vibrant and amazing...a definite option.

Option 2:

Dallin Chase Greg Dress

I also loooove this dress. The color of the flowers are perfectly suited for a night beach wedding, and the flowing layers are exactly what I'll need for dancing.

Option 3:

Built by Wendy Window Pretty Dress

First of all, this is my favorite color. ever. This dress is a little more casual, but can totally still work. I would probably wear my hair up in heidi braids.

I hate making decisions! But, hey, if this is the biggest decision plaguing me today, I guess its a good day.

Hurry Up, Summer!

First of all, I am going to post about our new SHORTS, because I am extremely ready for the warm weather, and today is just too cold and cloudy. These James Jeans are great because while they are actually short, the length is reasonable, not like daisy duke-which so many shorts make me feel like! Plus the detail on the pockets is interesting and different.

We got some amazing new items from Smafolk! Elephants are my personal favorite animal, and this animal pattern comes on a (tiny) dress and a onesie. My excitement was very high for someone with no children...
